Blumi Consumer Health Data Policy
Effective since: November 2, 2026
This policy supplements our Privacy Policy for residents of Washington and states with similar consumer health data laws, such as Nevada. If the two conflict, this policy controls for that data.
Consumer health data we collect
- Profile and goals: Sex, date of birth, height, weight, activity level, goal, and calorie and macronutrient targets.
- Meals and photos: Meal photos, foods, portions, estimated calories and macronutrients, meal type and time, and your edits.
Where it comes from
You, when you enter it or take a photo in the app, and the app, when it calculates estimates and targets from what you enter.
Why we collect and use it
To provide the features you asked for: estimating meals, calculating your plan and targets, and showing your history and progress. We also use it to keep the service secure and to meet legal obligations. Statistics we create from it are combined and de-identified.
Who receives it
We do not sell consumer health data. It is processed on our behalf by these categories of service providers, under contract:
- Hosting, database, and storage: all app data
- AI model providers: the meal photo, the time, the language, and any notes you write, without name, email, or profile
- Usage analytics: internal account identifier, screens, actions, device, and the goal chosen at signup, with no screen recording
The current list of service providers is on a separate page. We may also disclose it when required by law, or to a successor in a sale or reorganization of the company. We have no affiliates that receive it. Anything else needs your consent.
Your rights
You can confirm whether we collect or share your consumer health data, access it, get a list of the third parties and affiliates that received it, delete it, and withdraw your consent. Most of this can be done in the app; you can also send a request or write to mvcouto.apps+privacy@gmail.com. We respond within 45 days.
How to appeal
If we decline your request, reply to our answer within a reasonable time and tell us which decision you are appealing. If your appeal is denied, you may complain to your state attorney general.
